Police say they caught four people attempting to illegally harvest dozens of live Dungeness crabs by hiding them in custom-made pouches sewn into their clothing. In one person's case, police said she had crabs stuffed inside her pants and in her bra. Fish and game officers watched the crew harvest well beyond their fair share of the tasty crustaceans and squirrel them away, but say they only reported harvesting five when it came time to check in their catch. On top of not reporting their full harvest, officers say the poachers also took 19 undersized crabs and even kept a female that should have been released. All four violators were ticketed for failing to submit catch for inspection and having undersized crab.
