Paul 100% wrote on it. John, Peter, Paul, Jude, and James were looking for it.

The Rapture doctrine was not started by James Darby but as early as Polycarp and Iraneus spoke about it as well.

Sir, it has nothing to do with Darby. Just read the scripture. It will testify of itself.

Wait, I’m genuinely confused - did you just say the rapture was made up and then go on to tell the events that will take place that sounds like a rapture that will happen?

The gathering of the saints (aka rapture) is absolutely true. Its just when most people seem to think. It will be at his 2nd coming. At the last day. 🙏🏼

i like the two event template myself where the rapture and the second coming are two seperate events. The rapture beimg before the trib and the second coming coming directly after. Some scripture point to the rapture and some refer to the second coming

WLC’s got it right, but the term “Rapture” fits the “gathering and meeting in the air”.

Wrong!! Pseudo-Ephraem (4th–7th century) – In a sermon often called The Apocalypse of Pseudo-Ephraem, he wrote: "All the saints and elect of God are gathered before the tribulation... and are taken to the Lord." While the exact date and interpretation are debated, it is one of the earliest texts cited in support of a pre-tribulational gathering

And in regulation chapter 3 verse 10 it says Jesus tells the church in Philadelphia that I will keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come up upon the whole world. It’s right there in scripture.
