When a design is packed with too many separate ideas, every element has to compete for attention. I prefer to focus on a clear subject and use the space to create depth, contrast, and detail within the tattoo itself. For this piece, the client gave me complete creative freedom. We kept the concept simple—a wizard and his dragon—and used that space to build atmosphere, texture, and storytelling instead of cramming in a long list of unrelated elements.
