The question was not whether saints are holy or they could cast out evil spirit; but whether merely invoking their names carries authority to rebuke demons. 🤔

Coptic Orthodox Miaphysite :
Revelation 12:7-9: And war broke out in Heaven: Michael and his Angeles fought with the dragon: and the dragon and his Angeles fought, but they did not prevail…” The point is if God commands Archangel Michael and the Angeles to physically battle and cast down Satan and his demons, invoking their heavenly help in prayer is completely aligned with Scripture. So the Holy Spirit dwells in the saints. Asking for their prayers to expel a demon is an extension of this biblical reality, as we saw St.Paul or the dry bones of Elisha could cast out demons and raise the dead.

Why do we use other saints if we have already been given Jesus name? Is it not enough?
