Alignments should be done with vehicle on the ground. Geometry changes when suspension is compressed.

It’s a scam if both rear wheels are off 3°. They’re going to measure the same front and back. I can’t believe people who must have some Mechanic ability to try this don’t understand that it doesn’t work. If both wheels are off the same pointing the same way it’s going to measure the same. It doesn’t mean that it’s parallel to Vehicle.

thats false information the reason they call it setting the toe in is because some vehicls requuire narrower measurment than the back measurement and the specs are in a repair manual that matches the vehicle

first off. alignment should be in line with rear wheels. plus the suspension is not loaded. which changes the toe incredibly. wait till you sit it on the ground and it's toed out 2 inches

You can loosen the tie-rods with the wheels off to gain access, but you cannot accurately set your toe that way. Alignment angles must be measured and set with the suspension loaded (the car sitting on its own weight) so the parts sit in their normal driving positions.

then the alignment changes when you put the weight of the vehicle on the ground

They're isn't any weight on the suspension so this won't work.

Not going to be accurate. Your suspension needs to be loaded. Your lower control arms should be level. You need to look up what bump steer is.
