The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ explicitly stated that this specific combination of words contains the Ism al-A’zam—the Greatest Name of Allah. When anyone asks Allah using this formula, their request is guaranteed to be answered. ‎“اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنِّي أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْأَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ الَّذِي لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ” The companion Buraydah ibn al-Husayb (RA) reported that the Prophet ﷺ heard a man reciting these exact words in his prayer. Upon hearing it, the Prophet ﷺ turned to his companions and said: ‎“وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَقَدْ سَأَلَ اللَّهَ بِاسْمِهِ الأَعْظَمِ الَّذِي إِذَا دُعِيَ بِهِ أَجَابَ وَإِذَا سُئِلَ بِهِ أَعْطَى” “By the One in Whose Hand is my soul,he has asked Allah by His Greatest Name, which if He is called by it, He answers, and if He is asked by it, He gives.” at-Tirmidhi, Hadith 3475 / Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith 1493
