i used to have a friend with a kid, and she was genuinely shocked when i mentioned that her 2 year old looked so much like her. she told me no one had ever said that to her before and it made me so sad for her cause her kid was her mini me!!

After MONTHS of my MIL incessantly driving it on that put son was going to come out looking just like his dad, getting repeat baby pictures, the moment she ran over to the side of the hospital bed and went “oh, ig he doesn’t look just like him” did something for my spirit 😂 he does look like his daddy, he just had to dry out lol

My son came out looking like me after 3 years of battling infertility and countless amount of injections for IVF treatment and the procedure of IVF itself with the mental and physical burden, I was so relieved to see that he looks like me lol
