I’m watching a young lady share updates on her cancer journey. as her hair started slowly shedding, she said she was told to keep brushing it anyway, but she didn’t want to see so much coming out. but eventually she discovered, her shed hair, left alone, unbrushed, became huge clumps of matted hair. thinking about that now & hearing u describe locs. I get it now, why my locs were so heavy, I had to cut them off. I love my natural hair & I’m trying, even at 70, to take care of it & wear it well. Thank you for the support & inspiration. 🥰
