Totally agree. Even in corporate settings, especially as a Black professional, you need mental fortitude. Honestly, this applies to life in general. Most people do things just to get a reaction. Once I stopped giving energy to the insults, judgment, and passive remarks, everything started falling into place. Most of the time, I just laugh at them because they expected it to faze me, and it’s such an odd trait to try to get a reaction out of someone. Acceptance is key. Once you stop giving people that power, nothing can really faze you
