Hi! I have a question. About 5 days ago, a small piece of my tooth broke off, but the old filling itself did not break. My dentist replaced the filling after repairing the tooth. The filling was a little too high at first, so it was adjusted the next day. Since then, the tooth hurts when I chew, especially on hard or chewy foods like gum. It also hurts with cold and hot drinks, but that pain goes away immediately. The spontaneous pain I had during the first few days has stopped. Is this a normal part of healing, or could it mean something is wrong with the tooth or filling? Thank you!
