ALSO IMPORTANT 🚨The court basically said that any cases moving forward about discrimination against trans people would fall under rational basis review, which is the most deferential to the state. Meaning, states can pass as many anti trans laws as they want and they aren’t unconstitutional.

i think we have to be honest with ourselves and acknowledge that when people are arguing against the rights of women,poc,lgbtq,they are not arguing in good faith or because they genuinely believe what they’re saying(even if they do,is it worth trans lives?). it doesn’t make sense because it doesn’t need to. it’s all about intellectual dishonesty forcing u to debate rather than take action. because “i have a misinformed view on trans people” and “i don’t think trans people should exist at all” requires 2 different reactions and solutions. for the 1st example most would try to inform or re-educate them while for the 2nd example,for some the only response is violence or to continue to allow people like that to impose their beliefs on trans people/further the trans genocide. we have to be honest with ourselves and ask,”what are u willing to do about someone who is willing to kill u or physically and/or sexually assault u or simply oppress u systematically just to deter u from existing as u are?”
