Let me use this to educate our younger generation of people. 1. You should have taken a sick leave if you're unwell. You have a right to sick leave. But once you present yourself for work, you're expected to be at your best. Take for instance, if you're a cashier in a supermarket where customer traffic is high. If you must leave your workstation, your line manager needs to know and cover up for you appropriately. 2. Making a video and shouting at your line manager makes things worse. 3. If the workplace has become toxic, you can honourably resign. Dont forget that any u ruly behaviour can affect your reputation and future job opportunities. I expect you will go and apologize for this behaviour if you still want to keep your job. TO THE OLDER GENERATION: Let us be patient in guiding and disciplining our younger colleagues. Many of them are under intense pressure to eke our a living and support their families. The workplace is not a war zone. Pls lets correct them in love🙏🙏
