This makes me cry. My daughter has been in and out of psychosis all day. I thought I was doing the right thing by telling her it wasn’t real because I thought I was helping her by letting her know it’s not real so she doesn’t have to worry. Now I feel horrible.

how do i react to delusions? a friend is in the psych ward rn and keeps telling me he doesnt need help, hes being stalked, and that its actually the doctors who are psychotic putting him there. i try to validate his feelings but sometimes theres no way to respond other than switch to a completely new subject

I’ve had psychosis but they were both drug induced. I’m sober now and medicated but still scared it’ll happen again.

my best friend has been in psychosis for over a year now, just got herself in trouble with the law and I havent been able to get in contact with her for a year since she refuses to use a cell phone. I think she's with her family but idk. im heartbroken bc she refuses helpc

my son was diagnosed about 3 yrs back he took meds for a short while n refused to take any ..his normally very quiet. . withdrawn... humble.. helpful... caring However from tym to tym he would ask me wat did I say yet I said nothing then he does say he hears someone twkn to him ..not sure how to handle it ...there wr tyms he went missing
