Isn't this another question of standard of review for VAR intervention? Clear and obvious error is not met. Ref saw it all the way in real time and gave no card. Once called to the monitor, it undermines the VAR team if he doesn't overturn. His standard of review is already skewed to go with VAR.

Just don’t understand how it went from no card to red. What does that say about the ref decision on the pitch? It should only be upgraded to one step above the call on field. No card to yellow and yellow to a red. Not a no call to red.
