@kawaiicosmickitten: I started my 6 month journey to rebuild my life 44 days ago. I am a single mom and I gave up on myself many years ago. I stopped caring about my appearance, never wore makeup or put much thought into my outfit. Hair was always in a messy bun. I felt like there was no point because I didn’t love the way I looked either way. 44 days ago, I started taking my selfcare more seriously. It is a part of my 6 month journey to wake up everyday and do my skincare and makeup, even if I’m just staying home. I haven’t missed a day yet. I still am super hard on myself about my looks, I still wear my hair in a bun but at least it’s brushed and slicked back instead of just unruly and unbrushed.
