As a Russian person, I really don't know what to say about current economic situation. The state doesn't feel that bad yet but us common folks suffer a lot. Just for comparison, a flat in Moscow, where I currently live, costs as much as a flat in New York or even more. Average salary in Moscow is something around 70000₽/month or roughly $900/month. To rent a one room ~25sqm studio apartment you're gonna spend at least 2/3 of said salary

liquidity drains as of 2027…country has 20% debt to gdp ratio and 2300 tons of gold as reserves, and headroom for additional taxation. Also, there is a lot of trade with multiple countries, even Japan was buying gas from them, not speaking about the EU (LNG - we know it) weak hand lol
