I’m a therapist. A new mom came in with her newborn. I held him in the first couple minutes. Looked over. She was PASSED out. So me and him went for a walk. He walked to Starbucks with me. Got back. She was still asleep. She woke up at minute 57 and apologized. I said no queen you used therapy appropriately today.

I was waitressing at a restaurant last year and a mom came in with her husband/friends for a late dinner. Baby started getting fussy so mom went to pick her up instead of eating. restaurant was so dead and they were my only table, so I offered to take the baby and walk around with her (while still in moms view) so her food wouldn’t get cold and she could enjoy her time out. Baby and I walked all around the restaurant and was so happy. She left me a super sweet Google review and I got a great tip from the whole table, which put me at my goal for the night !!

I’m a Therapist. I had a patient come in for her first appointment back after having her baby. She was freshly postpartum and I could tell the minute she walked in how exhausted she was. I work in a doctors office so we set her up in an empty exam room, I sat in my office with her baby and she slept for 50 minutes. If there’s no village, you gotta be the village!
