Here is another one to add to the mix, increase employer taxes on any company with revenues 50 million per year who pay employees less than $25 an hour or $50k per year for full time employees. Incentivize paying people (versus only shareholders) more. And the reason is paying less significantly increases the likelihood those employees need public assistance of some kind.

I certainly don’t know as many people as she knows but my personal experience matches this exactly. Data centers are not blue vs red issue. They’re universally unpopular.

I totally believe that every Democrat needs to run on the economy. It’s the economy stupid. That’s what Bill Clinton ran on and it worked great. Data centers and vouchers for religious schools are both economic issues. It’s part of that. It’s the economy stupid that Democrats need to run on. Our governor in TX bragged about bringing data centers to TX till our rural people opposed the data centers. It’s an election year for him so he’s back tracking trying to regulate it. That cat is out of the bag.
