I don’t like fruit pie, the texture is not for me, so I would also eat all of the crust (including the bottom) with the fruit gravy. But I wouldn’t waste the fruit portion. I’d find someone to share it with.

this is why my sister and I always shared a slice of cherry pie because she liked the crust and I liked the filling so we would just eat it together so nothing gets wasted

we baked our own pie for our wedding instead of having a wedding cake to cut. my husband did a lot of practice pies to get the crust right. I would be PISSED if someone picked at our pie. We had an entire dessert table so there was something for everyone

you should not be taking food you will lot eat the majority of. It’s more understandable if you find out after you started eating that you don’t like it, but even then get someone else to eat it

He knew others were looking forward to it. If he actually wanted it and others were looking forward to it and he hadn’t had any. That would be one thing. But he knew others were looking forward to it. The effort she put in, and that he was going to only eat the crust and toss the rest out. So yeah. YTA

I love pie crust. And I hear the argument that it was “his piece” to do with as he pleased, but that just feels like such a waste of something that someone else would’ve enjoyed! Eat the crust, ask someone else if they want your filling. I’m sure someone would’ve said yes
