I dont think its just dreamwalking. I think her being able to talk with Liam was part of her power meaning she can speak with the dead if certain conditions are met. she'll be able to talk with the first riders and find out the truth

I think it’s more than just dream walking. I think she can literally jump into someone’s consciousness. She switched places with Xaden during the throne scene. The others just happened to be sleep when she entered into their minds so we labeled it as dream walking.

I think it has to do with the fact that Andarna has given Violet the power to wield magic in isles that don’t have it (note in the book it’s mentioned several times that Violet can feel a tingle while others cannot).

umm I’m pretty sure xaden explains why it’s dangerous..nobody can keep their shields up when sleeping, so she’s able to walk in to their thoughts/dreams. They’re at their most vulnerable

I think Tairn gave violet dream walking and is pretending it’s Andarnas. Her signet still works after Andarna broke the bond. Andarna gave something else that we won’t find out until she returns and rebonds

I genuinely think she’s not a dream walker, but instead, she can just walk into peoples minds at any time and just doesn’t know yet. I also think she can project what she sees in her mind. It’s a physical form because I truly believe that’s what she was seeing when she saw Liam.

Rebecca says we’ve only seen 10% of her signet. We don’t know enough to know whether or not the gift she’s gotten develops into something extremely dangerous. We’ve only seen bits and pieces of it.

unless her mind legitimately broke during interrogation, shes not a dream walker. shes a spirit walker. not like what's her faces astral projection, actual spirit walking. she communicates with the real people instead of manipulating the dream realms. she can't pull herself away from the dreams with the venin, she says shes pulled into them. and she has active, productive, conversations with Liam, after the interrogation, who specifically did not have all his belongings burned for malek, possibly giving a tether for his soul to stay.

Xaden calls it dreamwalking FOR NOW. I think it’s just the tip of the iceberg when he called it dreamwalker. But I think she’s a kind of intinnsic but with broader power than just a dream walker. I guess we’ll know when the books comes out. And Xaden calls it dangerous cause she can see peoples nightmare and she can interact in their dreams without their shield up.

I believe violets signet as a dream-walker means full on possession, logically she has all the pieces being able to interact with the spirit realm and going into people’s heads. All she has to do is figure out how to move the spirit from the person she’s possessing, also from prior experience dream-walkers are generally know for possession. She also ‘meddles’ in Xaden’s dreams and we see an example of her controlling his body during said dream. She also has dream walked into Sgaeyl’s mind during IF.

I think dream jumping can be dangerous, I think it can significantly influence someone’s thoughts once awake or even alter their mind completely? Just my thoughts on some good theories
