@sacramentourbanmedia916: The death of 1-year-old Kohen Riley has left the Senatobia, Mississippi, community grieving and demanding answers after a police response outside a Walmart ended in tragedy. In the days following the incident, residents organized vigils, protests, and boycotts, turning the Walmart parking lot into a gathering place for people calling for transparency and accountability. Flowers, stuffed animals, and handwritten messages have been left in memory of the toddler as community members continue to mourn. The backlash also led to the temporary closure of the Senatobia Walmart, with many residents choosing to boycott the store while investigations continue. At the center of the public’s concerns is what happened during the police response. The family and supporters are calling for the release of surveillance footage and body camera video, saying it could help clarify the events that led to the shooting. Law enforcement officials have stated the vehicle posed a threat, while the child’s mother has disputed that account. The case has sparked broader discussions about police use of force during responses to suspected property crimes and renewed calls for greater transparency in officer-involved shootings. As the investigation continues, many in the community say they are focused on honoring Kohen Riley’s memory while seeking answers about the circumstances surrounding his death.#fyp #viral
