after January 6th. I had a friend for over 30 yrs. I posted my feelingsg on fb. my friend replied on my post. she was so maga, she wrote an essay about how Trump didn't know about it and she said that she would Never speak to me again if I didn't post an apology for my post. I said no mam I won't. she unfriended me and we have not seen each other or talked to each other since January 7th....

After he won the second time, I ended a 15 year friendship. I miss her, but I do not regret it! I supported her opinion the first four years he was in office but after January 6, and her opinion did change, I was done. Completely!

I am a sister who had to stop talking to my sister for this reason exactly. Part of me is wondering if it’s my sister. It probably isn’t. I’m sure there are a lot of stories like this.
