Crazy theory, but what if Ego is doing the blue lock project to find a way to mimic that god-like state, and find a formula to master and control it, or the “Flow”. Cause we all know that it drove him crazy trying to find a formula to explain it, but failed. So what if he is just using the blue lock project as an excuse to get subjects to try and use them to find this formula. And what if the last person standing in blue lock is the one who finds it, becoming one of the greatest strikers of all time with the new found weapon. Then you also gotta think about the person who made him enter this state, Noel Noa. Maybe that’s why he had kunigami become a copy of him, to simulate the exact conditions for the chosen one, (Most likely Isagi) To awaken into the form for ego to break down and try to understand now that he would have another instance of it happening. If this is right, I believe the series could end in three ways. 1: Isagi finds the formula before or during the World Cup, which leads to Japan wining against France. 2: Isagi instead learns it from his team, transcending beyond his Omni Vision (Flow State is what you could call it) And finds a way to replicate it constantly without a N1
