Adam AstroYogi Sánchez :
Ok, I studied this post and adjusted my upcoming speech for my local NYC town hall with Mamdani next week:
Thank you mr mayor for all the work you have been doing for the people of nyc
I FEEL, our city has a legitimate, collective concern and fear that has contributed to the current mental health epidemic we have in this country
IF the long history and pernicious, negligent mismanagement, even theft, of public resources will continue to proliferate like a cancer, then we will continue to see human rights violations become the norm in this increasingly overlapping sphere bet business and politics
BUT, you know better than most, that new yorkers are some of the toughest and smartest community members around... out there casting votes and being the leaders we need [working FOR THE PEOPLE, not just corporations]
AND IN FACT
A great example lives in the story of the people reclaiming their medical sovereignty by conducting a world-changing, peer-reviewed study during the pandemic on a naturally occuring chemical, Chlorine dioxide: proving its 99% effectiveness as a covid treatment. The continued supression of this life saving information illustrates the intellectual & medical colonization that needs to be brought to the public discourse in a legitimate way, free of industry sabotage, manipulation or propaganda.
My questions to you Mr. Mayor, come in 3 parts
1. [Keeping in mind, institutionalized gatekeeping of the human right to healthcare and proper education therein has become the worst kind of crony capitalism]
What can you pledge to do about this, as mayor of NYC, and how would you best lead us the public in addressing these issues?
2. Are you able or willing to help New Yorkers access education & support for ethically backed science with actual safe & effective methods of alternative & preventive medicine?
3. Do you see a successful path in this direction, given this will require us to begin to break up the not only unethical, but the illegal-in-practice pharma and insurance monoploies, as well as protect our local resources that dictate the health of our residents, such as the purity or pollution of our land, air and waters?
