There is a rule: the container concept. You can have as many of the item as fit into the container. When the container for the item is full, you’re done.

Ich habe ganz viele Geschirrtücher etc., einmal wische ich einfach alles damit auf, außer erbrochenes. Da verwende ich zewa. Zum anderen habe ich eine größere Waschmaschine wo halt auch passend voll laufen soll.

Great tips! My rule is no drawer (in any room) should be stuffed. One should be able to open & get what one needs easily & with space. 😏

It’s the number of kitchen towels YOU can manage. Some people can have a lot and still keep them organized and some can only have a few. For me it’s the number of towels I go through in a week between washings.

Yup. I’ve got a big pile of ‘household linens’. Everything has a place, which means I’m at capacity. Nothing new in, and if I throw a kitchen towel out I’ll never need a new one.

Things torn or with holes or frayed have to go is a good rule for me. Also works with socks, underwear, t shirts, etc.

The key to decluttering for me is Audiobooks. It takes the overstimulation away and makes things go fast faster.

14 is my magic number. 14 of anything I have to wash that I used on the regular. If something happens and I can’t do laundry one weekend I have a backup set of everything just in case.
