Who doesn’t pre-twist with solid wire. WAGO is way beater than wire nuts, almost all I use now

pretwisting is pointless and makes it a pain to work on later when things need to be changed. just even your wires out and put the wire nut on. it isnt that hard. plus whenever i see pretwisted wires u usually see loose wire nuts bc the people who twist them dont check their wire nuts at all

yes its a horrible idea to not pretwist. you are always assuming 120 or 240volt, but would you ever not pre twist 600v?!? of course not.

you absolutely do not need to pre-twist if you're using the ideal nuts

I always made my guys pretwist just old habits. Nothing worse than trouble shooting for a loose neutral

2 solid- pre twist ,,, 2 stranded- hand pre twist,,, 1 of each- no pre twist-leave stranded a hair further than solid

without pre-twisting is very concerned. I already saw connection failures because of it. it's better to go on the safe side

We still do pre twist wires, and we should. Time saved not pre twisting is time spent troubleshooting. It is also much safer to pre twist. You have to twist the wire nut way more and risk poking the copper through the top of the wire nut, which I’ve seen on the field. I’ve had untwisted wires in a wire nut that were live pop out and almost nick me as I was trouble shooting. In my opinion, very bad advice to say no need to pre twist just because it saves you time.

In the 5 years I've been doing electrical I've always pre twisted. I've seen non pre twisted joints fail, I will always pre twist.

why are wagos for 24-12awg. 20-10 would be way more useful unless they just can't handle the power

For solid wire, it takes away. The integrity of the wire is no longer worth six hundred volts

depends on the situation, don't pretwist if it's solid to stranded as you said, solid wire only always pretwisted
