People can be mad. But this is truly an American Royal Wedding. Not only because of Taylor and Travis. But her guest list is going to be INSANE. Speculation: Selena Gomez, Stevie Nicks, Paul McCartney, Lenny Kravitz, Zoe Kravitz, Sophie Turner, Ed Sheeran, Jack Antonoff, Sabrina Carpenter, Margaret Qualley, Zendaya. Literally for something like the Met Gala they have to have that intense of a security detail. This wedding is an EVENT, events need security staff and safety protocols. There are fire safety codes implemented into any and every event usually. The security is extra? YEAH because this is one of the highest profile special events of the year if not the next decade guest list alone not even including the bride.

The only way to ensure total privacy is to have a very small wedding at home. If she wants a big wedding with all their friends and family, lots of dancing and music and space for 500-1000 people, then they need a huge venue that’s set up for this type of security. How many venues realistically can handle this? That are located somewhere everyone can easily travel and stay? MSG is probably the best option from that short list of venues.

THIS! People are forgetting the fact that she is Taylor Swift and having a wedding on a beach or something like is not safe for her or their guests. And it is certainly not private. The location would have been leaked at some point. MSG is safe and private. And can be transformed into whatever they want.

Also, like the video says, we can’t look at it like a normal wedding. For Tayvis, stadiums and arenas mean something different than to us. Both of them spend a lot of time in them and let’s not forget how they met. So having their wedding in a stadium is actually kind of romantic if you think of it… they must have so many good memories from the beginning of their relationship in stadiums.

I’m sure their team looked at every possible angle and decided this gave them the best mix of privacy, security, and the freedom to have the wedding they truly wanted and deserved. NYC is expensive to visit, so that alone is a pretty good deterrent for the overly obsessed fans. 😂 And honestly, if Taylor and Travis want a big wedding, they’re allowed to have one, just like anyone else. If you have the resources to celebrate the way you want, why not?
