@offenceregister: Connor Baker Folkestone Paedophile Child Molester Connor Baker, who committed sexually motivated crimes in Folkestone and Hythe in 2022, was given an extended term. Connor Baker pursued an 18-year-old woman along a walkway near the Royal Military Canal, Hythe, on Sunday, 11 July 2021, before putting his hands around her waist. The girl managed to pull free of his clutches and escaped to Rampart Road, where a group of her friends observed her as they drove past. After that, they took a car to Hythe Green to meet up with some more buddies. When the gang saw Baker, they asked him to explain what he had done. He became agitated and swung an asp-type weapon at the group before departing the location. Police arrived, and Baker was later recognised as a suspect. The 24-year-old, previously of Appledore Crescent, Folkestone, was given a nine-year term and ordered to serve a further four years on licence.
