Someone I know use to do third party inspections for HD, like this exact scenario- they’ll eventually send a third party inspector to evaluate who is in the wrong and let’s just say I would never hire HD to do ANYTHING in my house. They’re cheaper than real contractors for a reason.

I went through home depot to have my AC installed. they put 3 unnecessary holes in my wall and didn't fix them, didnt install my coils, and charged me twice when I asked them to please put in the coils I ALREADY PAID FOR!! ive determined that Home Depot doesnt use installation crews that are worth a damn and will never again.
