And honestly, let’s say your rent is 900. You still have utilities, car payment car insurance phone bill anything that your kids need any necessities that you need. It’s just not enough.

That’s why we need leaders that boost the minimum wage and stop the high interest rates on mortgages and rent.

Moving cities can also move your paycheck. So if I can’t afford it now I still can’t afford it making less. There’s no more moving to an affordable place because that place no longer exists.

No they don’t. Thats the average income, which is the average of ALL including the rich. Take off the top 10% and recalculate to see a more realistic number (it’s low)

No, the average worker does not pull in 2500 a month.. the average barely gets 2000 a month barely scraping at 1700

2500 a month is minimum wage at around $15 an hour only fast food workers make that. Anybody who has some kind of education makes way more than that ..as a case manager in Massachusetts I only have a associates degree and I make $25 an hour 4000 a month before taxes… $3400 a month after taxes and I still need to drive and do uber on the side to make an extra 1k each week

I love in a small city. There are no jobs here. You have to drive 30-45+. The 1bd 1ba range 800-1200. Rent can’t be paid if there are no jobs in rural areas. That’s why people move closer to the city BUT HAVE TO PAY MORE RENT
