I love the Bob’s Red Mill rebranding separate from the original packaging. If it was a new company and I saw it I would be intrigued but it is such a turn from the OG it’s hard to reconnect the two in my mind

I'm sad about Bob's Red Mill. I love that brand so much and I adored the packaging. It feels retro in a way that speaks to the quality of their products. I don't think the new design is bad, per se, but it's definitely not as good

The original Red Mill packaging felt like Bob started making regular flour and then just started making more kinds and made the packages as he went along. That’s why they’re not so uniform. I know that story probably isn’t true, but it feels true looking at the bags. The new look? Reads way too “committee”
