That’s a major misconception. Capturing Taiwan's factories doesn't mean China gets their technology. Those advanced chip labs completely rely on US software, Dutch machines (ASML), and Japanese chemicals. The moment China steps foot there, the global supply chain cuts them off, and those multi-billion-dollar factories become useless piles of metal and glass overnight. Physical possession isn't technological mastery.

Where do the rare earth minerals for semiconductor chips production come from? Mostly China. China can easily slow production if it wants to. Why only talk about finished products and not supply chain?
