the hatred between moldova and romania was ctreated by the russians, we had to cede basarabia to ussr according to the ultimatum they gave us back in 1940s, either give up basarabia or get invaded and lose thousands of civilians. then basarabia was named as the moldavian soviet socialist republic in the ussr, they forced their language and alphabet onto moldovians and forbidden the latin alphabet to (russify) the romanians who lived in basarabia, years later in 1990 transnistria declared its breakaway from moldova even before it had gotten independence from the ussr itself, then the following year moldova got its independence again and named itself “republic of moldova” and nowadays they still speak the language that romanians have formed and spoken for thousands of years, because of the russians now romania is split into 2 separate nations but the ones who really think about it have figured out we are the same people split by the bigger powers
