only two actors made Superman feel REAL for me. Christopher Reeve made me believe a man could fly. But that first teaser from Man of Steel. That felt REAL. After reading/watching AllStar Superman... Finally the greatest superhero of all time felt tangible. The inspiration and aspiration were just as tangible. Superman 2025 felt like a betrayal. The greatest comic book superhero (and I say this as a lifelong Batman fan) was sacrificed to appease a political narrative.
