The Prophet (PBUH) foretold it himself: "After me — 30 years of Khilafat e Rashida. Then comes the era of oppressive kingship." The first to change the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH) was Muawiyah ibn Abi Sufyan — who replaced the system of consultation with hereditary monarchy. And when Yazid inherited that throne — it was not just a political transition. It was the moment Islam's governance was replaced by personal power. This is not an opinion. This is what the Prophet (PBUH) himself warned. He said: "Even if Fatima bint Muhammad stole — I would cut her hand." No one is above the law of Allah. Not the powerful. Not the privileged. Not the famous. When the great are excused for their crimes and the weak are punished for theirs — that is not Islam. That is exactly what the Prophet (PBUH) warned us against. Karbala was not just a battle. It was Hussain (AS) standing up for the very system his grandfather built — and died to protect. The 30 years ended. The kingship began. And Hussain (AS) refused to legitimize it. That is why Karbala happened. That is why it still matters. Ya Hussain (AS). You stood for the Sunnah when everyone else stayed silent. Salawat upon the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and his blessed Ahle (AS).
