@polonopedia: Since the beginning of 2026, Poland 🇵🇱, has recorded 100% operational effectiveness on the Polish-Belarusian border: by 31 May, there were zero successful illegal migrant crossings reported by the state. This result followed a sharp drop in pressure on the border 🛡️. By 31 May 2026, around 215 attempts had been detected, compared with over 10,600 attempts in the same period of 2025. Border Guard reports also described migrants withdrawing toward Belarus after seeing Polish patrols. A key reason for this decrease was Poland’s upgraded border security system 📊. It combines a physical barrier, electronic surveillance, patrols and a buffer zone. The outcome is one of Europe’s strongest border protection results: fewer attempts, no successful crossings reported, and clear operational control by Polish services.
