Look this up for you U.S.: Data centers consumed ~176 TWh in 2023 (~4.4% of U.S. electricity, enough for ~16 million homes). Projections range from 325–580 TWh by 2028 and potentially 400–600+ TWh by 2030, potentially reaching 6–12% or more of U.S. electricity. Power demand (in GW) is also surging, e.g., from ~31 GW in 2025 toward 66+ GW by 2027 in some forecasts.
