personally I like his acting as Sanji and I think he does a good job with it, but I do not like Taz. There's just something about him that's off. I mainly think this from the way he was treating Charitra and his personality in general just makes we feel weird.

LA Sanji also doesn't look too Sanji imo. he just looks like a blonde with a side part. the blonde also isn't his blonde and he needs his curly brow. and he also never smokes idk,, I also kinda have this gripe with most the la straw hats except for like, Nami and Zoro. Luffy doesn't have the scar (at least, it's not obvious) and ussop doesn't have the nose. idk if that was a stereotype don't think it is it's a Pinocchio thing, and I know they can do all that because of universal fanfest, don't know why they didn't for live action.

All of the characters were made to be more generic and palatable to the general audience. Like Nami disliking rich people, Zoro being more serious, and Luffy being too polite. Their characterization and interpersonal relationships are weaker.

i don’t think people know the controversy surrounding him either 😭😭 but going to sanji… like he doesn’t seem important..? and the live action removed so many aspects away.. (poor wig quality, the outfits which i understand are through the colour spreads but what?), and to people who say oda was involved a lot, do you know how many people use this excuse for any type of media.. he showed up because it’s a huge project but he doesn’t actually get much say. anyways what you said was perfect i love this video

I think I might be a hater but I genuinely dislike the entire live action project. Granted, I only watched the first season but I felt like every character I saw was like drawing something from memory. Like the components are there but when you look closer it’s just off.

Tbh even tho I liked the part where LA Sanji talked about his mom, I just feel like this is something that manga Sanji never would’ve done. Sure it’s a nice Easter egg for the fans but it just feels…a bit out of character

the reason I dont like live action sanji is because women are meant to be unnatracted to him that would still work if he wasn't creepy. nami always allows what he does in the live action but in the anime she should have been shouting at him
