Well, I totally understand why a lot of people are frustrated. The Russia guy acted very callously and seemed to walk away without consequences, while this guy isn’t getting that same outcome. I’m not judging him in any way because, if I were in his position, I might have done even worse. But the reality is that he’s dealing with the U.S. federal government, which is not only extremely powerful but also appears to have gathered a substantial amount of evidence against him. The extradition process may be delayed, but from where things stand, it seems inevitable. Whether he grants interviews or chooses to remain silent is unlikely to change the legal process if the case supporting the extradition is strong.
