I have 3 bank accounts. 1 where I’m paid and bills come out. 1 that’s “expendable” but also pay for food and petrol etc. from it. And 1 for savings. I have a standing order each month from my bills account to my savings. I leave just the money for bills in that account and transfer the rest to expendable. And same as your tip, any left overs goes to savings at the end of the month 😁

Instead of a list of contacts I have a QR code in my living room for emergency teams so they can access a full set of instructions. Contacts, pet care, etc

Another tip for emergency contacts: an elderly coworker of mine has a husband who was just in a car accident. She didn’t have a cell phone. So she had put a list of emergency contacts in his wallet. He didn’t know about it until the EMT found it in his pocket. His cell phone was DESTROYED in the accident. They called us at her work, and our manager called her at home. Which REALLY came in handy because she had left work an hour earlier, and he was supposed to pick her up but she ended up taking the bus home thinking he forgot. She was able to get to the hospital and see her husband who is thankfully okay. So keep a list of emergency contacts in your bag or wallet in case something happens to your phone. ❤️

similar to your leftover cash - auto-deposits the day after you get paid. To savings, travel, etc etc because then I don't miss it - it's already accounted for and I have the remainder for a budget w/savings already taken care of
