Always save regardless of what’s happening. They’ll always be something every month so we can’t use this excuse or else we won’t ever save.

I’m putting savings in, it’s not a lot, but then when I get a big expenditure I have savings for it. But I still don’t see anything going down :( I can be quite impulsive with spending, but the issue started when I wasn’t being paid correctly after maternity leave, I didn’t get paid any unsociable hours, despite only working unsociable hours. After a big fight I got about 4 months out of 12 back and I left the trust. But because of that massive underpayment (and I had reduced my hours slightly due to having a child under 1) I was having to spend on a credit card! And it’s just spiralled from there :/
