What is considered a nerd these days. Most people watch marvel and dc we’ve grown up with it and it’s usually the big summer movie. Anime has some really decent storylines and definitely isn’t for kids. Often covering mature themes. Things that were considered nerdy in the 90’s is just normal nowadays.

When my brother started Year 7, he came home almost every day looking sad or with a bruise. He never told us what was happening but I knew he was being bullied, so I signed him up for martial arts. As his confidence grew, he stopped coming home upset and became mad talkative. We never spoke about what he went through until he started college and thanked me and said that if it wasn’t for me, he wouldn’t have made it through secondary school. As his sister, I never expected thanks I just wanted to protect him.

When I was an MMA fighter, all the so called tough guys that came in would quit within two weeks because it hurt their ego to get beaten by smaller guys.

been training martial arts since I was 8 years old, was always a weird kid, tried bullying me, didnt go the way they thought it would, now im 25 with 17 years of martial arts experience

Or, hear me out, dont bully people at all. Be the change you want to see in the world. Imagine if everyone bullied and picked on someone weaker and softer. You know how there is always someone tougher you? The toughest people dont bully others, but if they did, we would ALL be their victims. Would you take that? If you can not take that, then dont dish it out.

Got bullied in secondary and my dad was a judo champ and went to him one night and was like “ I wanna learn “ and he insta found a dojo and started and now years later I’m so much more confident because I have the tools to defend myself , only to defend because attacking people is just wonky 😭
