Hi any advice would be great please 🙏 I’m thinking of coming end July between 9-14 nights with my 14 yr old daughter I like the look of a few hotels as you know there’s so many 😅 virgin hotel voco Astoria voco Times Square and the voco the Franklin and there’s a voco south I think it was called any help would be great 😊

Another one listening and taking notes while living in my own house in Europe with no plans whatsoever to ever move to NYC 😂 However, the parts about considering time and money spent on traveling is also true if you’re visiting the city. Spend the extra cash on staying where you want to spend time. I’ve been 3 times, stayed in Manhattan every time. Different areas for different reasons.

This place I’m in now (condo - rent from the owner), I had 2 years of tax returns, a years worth of bank statements, my current credit report, a letter from my employer, and a referral letter from my current landlord in hand as I walked in to meet the broker. The whole thing was about 3 minutes. I had first, last, security and brokers fee in the bank, ready to roll in the moment. I applied and was approved basically the next day and moved in 2 weeks later. If you don’t have all your papers and cash on hand when you walk in, someone else will and will snag that sh!t up.
