@theheavyloud: Every TOOL fan needs to see this… This is what “Sober” sounded like BEFORE it was “Sober”. So back in the late 80s, Maynard James Keenan was fronting a band called Children of the Anachronistic Dynasty... obviously years before Tool existed. This public access footage shows them playing "Burn About Out," the song that would go on to become Tool's massive hit "Sober" on 1993's Undertow. You can hear similar verse melodies and even the same lyrics in parts... but ultimately it became a completely different song by the time it was done.
