Five Pillars of Islam: These are the basic acts of worship and the foundation of a Muslim's faith and practice: 1-Shahada: The declaration of faith, stating that there is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is His messenger. 2-Salat:(Prayers) Performing ritual prayers five times a day. 3-Zakat:(Charity) Giving to 2.5% as charity on savings and supporting the needy. 4-Saum:(Fast)Ramzan is ninth month of luner calender of Islamic year.Fasting during the holy month of Ramadan luner .(30) days 5-Hajj: The pilgrimage to Mecca, which every Muslim must try to undertake at least once in their lifetime if they are able.The Hajj is performed between the 8th and 12th (or 13th) of Dhul-Hijjah, the 12th and final month of the Islamic calendar. Community and Morality: Islam places a strong emphasis on the community (Ummah) and living a life based on ethical principles and compassion.
