I do believe there is a version of this film that is a really good story about cara finding her place in the universe, unfortunately they kept on messing around with trying (and failing) to adapt Woman of tomorrow beat for beat while still trying to add their own “DCU” sensibilities. An unfortunate outcome for fans of the character and those who dedicated their time and energy into making this film.

They genuinely had such an opportunity to show the differences between Clark and Kara by having Kara get into and listen to more hardcore or emotional rock than him the soundtrack really sold
