his first full on appearance was in GGX2 you encounter him in Ky's Story Path 2 gotta beat him with only specials. you unlocked him as well through doing Survival Mode along with Kliff and Justice. they changed him in Reload to this version cause the regular X2 version was just extremely broken and illegal in tournaments. theres a little teaser of him (kinda) in Guilty Gear X where if you complete survival mode which is 100 lvls you get GG Mode. GG Mode while selecting Ky basically makes Ky...Robotic soo it was a little tease that a Robo Version of Ky was coming i guess.
