after I watched this, I immediately wanted to get into makeup effects in movies. I could've gone into it. my uncle had been doing special effects in major films & I'm sure he could've helped me but unfortunately I didn't pursue it & my social anxiety got the best of me but I still think this film was incredible & the effects were amazing.

The Novella was fantastic, and how Clive Barker was able to translate/envision what was on his original pages onto the big screen is pure genius! Of course, most of it went over peoples heads in 1987. Too bad an unrated version of this doesn’t exist…
