This are absolutely false conclusions. Let's say the sun is "moving" on by straight line. We have generally two possibilities: 1. If the sun is very big and in long distance from the Earth. In this case the sun will go down closer and closer to the horizon, but will never happen the sunset event (if we had flat earth). 2. If the sun is much smaller and much closer to the earth. In this case eventually at some point the sun will be hidden from our eyes, but it will become smaler and smaler when going towards the horizon, because that's what is happening with every object that is very close to the "flat" earth... but also it's light will never disappear (same with point 1) on a flat surface. It is very simple... Make a circle in your house and use some powerful spherical light to move it around the circle at some height (by your choice). Then call me if you ever have around half of the circle to be completely dark. Or put your head on the ground in that circle, ask another person to move the light object around the circle and call me if at some point you can't see the light anymore! GOOD LUCK!!!
