@theandyharrington: Same pitch. Two rooms. Two completely different outcomes. Walk on a stage in New York and say, here is why you need this, and the room buys. Walk on a stage in London and open with the same line, and the room hates you. It is not the offer. It is the contract that exists between speaker and audience inside each culture. The American contract rewards directness. Tell me what it is. Tell me what it costs. Tell me what I get. Move on. The British contract rewards a different sequence. Show me you understand someone like me. Tell me what they were dealing with. Tell me what you did with them. Tell me where they are now. Let me decide whether I am them. Same product. Same proof. Different order of delivery. One reads as sales. The other reads as story. If you are speaking to a British audience, do not lead with the offer. Lead with the person you helped and let the offer arrive on its own.
